Derrick Carter, D.M.D., a Jacksonville, FL native, was born and raised in the Marietta Area. High School: Edward H. White High School - Colleges: Jacksonville University, Newberry College, Newberry, SC (B.A.in Chemistry) University of Florida, Gainesville. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1984 and works with all ages (3-103). He handles all types of dentistry; tooth colored fillings, whitening (bleaching), crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, root canals, wisdom teeth removal, periodontal (surgical & non-surgical) therapy, implants, most everything but braces, with an emphasis on making smiles pretty and white (cosmetic dentistry).
